Lah-Lah's Adventures

Dancing double basses and singing saxophones, Lah-Lah is a brand new interactive performance where instruments come to life in the world of a 4 year old girl. Opening at the Sutherland Entertainment Centre on 8 and 9 January, shows will also be held at the Seymour Centre in Sydney between 13 and 17 January, and at Parramatta Town Hall on 20 and 21 January 2009. Featuring some of the most talented and experienced musicians in Sydney, Lah-Lah is a wonderful and memorable experience for young children. The shows will feature a 5-piece band including the vocals of Tina Harris (ex Opera Australia) who plays the part of Lah-Lah, Mark Harris (Monsieur Camembert) on double bass, Jess Ciampa on percussion, Marcello Maio on piano accordion and keyboard, and Matthew Ottignon on the saxophone, clarinet and flute. It's a chance for kids to really experience the thrill of music, to be encouraged and supported to learn and to enjoy themselves in an incredibly open and stimulating concert environment.
